光纤熔接过程中你碰到过这些问题没有?

光纤熔接过程中可能出现的问题
The possible problems in the process of optical fiber fusion
1、熔接时接点有气泡或者裂纹
1. There is a bubble or a crack in the joint.
出现这种情况可能是光纤切割不良,比如端面倾斜、有毛刺或者端面不清洁,需要重新清理光纤之后再进行熔接操作;还有一种情况就是防电电极老化,需要更换电极棒。
This may be the case of bad fiber cutting, such as slanting end face, burr, or unclean end face. It is necessary to reconnect the fiber after recleaning the fiber, and one of the other cases is the aging of the anti electric electrode and the need to replace the electrode rod.
2、熔接过厚或者接点变细

熔接过厚、接点变粗常常是由于光纤馈入太多、推动过快造成的;熔接缩头、接点变细一般是馈入量不够、放电电弧太强造成的。

3、热缩后比热缩前损耗大

这种情况是由于光纤剥去保护套层后受到污染,熔接结束后热缩管紧缩时,残留的污染物(如微小砂粒)会压迫光纤,导致光纤变形,所以熔接损耗才会变大。这个时候需要重新清洁光纤、重新熔接。

4、盘纤造成短纤或者损耗增大

光纤熔接结束后,在接头盒内固定的时候,应该轻拿轻放,保证光纤在最小弯曲半径以上。

5、熔接处机械强度差,容易被折断

导致这种情况的原因比较多:

①光纤本身的质量不好;

②光纤切面不平整、导致熔接效果差;

③熔缩接头方人员托盘卡槽时用力不当。
(3) the strength of the joint holder is not proper when it is stuck.
6、接续时出现负损耗
6, negative loss occurs in succession
接续时出现负损耗,是在测试曲线上面出现向上的趋势。经常出现在模场直径大的光纤接续模场直径小的时候,因为模场直径小的光纤引导反向散射光的能力比模场直径大的光纤强。
The negative loss in connection is the upward trend on the test curve. When the diameter of the continuous die field is small, the ability of the optical fiber to guide the backward scattering light is stronger than the optical fiber with the larger diameter of the mode field.
这种情况下,我们应该使用双向测试平均法来算出熔接点的真正损耗!
In this case, we should use the bidirectional test average method to calculate the true loss of the fusion point.
